Ilaeka Bourne Villa (IBV), President & Owner
Ilaeka B. Villa is an American citizen holding
dual French nationality who has over 20 years international business
experience. Born
in North Carolina USA, she spent her childhood living in the
US, eventually moving to Paris in the 1980s.
Fluent in English and French, Ms Villa is
multi-culturally adaptable, having successfully participated
in projects in the US, Europe,
Eastern Europe, the Middle East & South Africa.
Ms Villa attended the Sorbonne University French
Language and Culture Program in 1990 after a career in art sales
at the Bowles Galleries
and the San Francisco Art Exchange in San Francisco where she
was nominated Sales Director. She studied Business of Sciences
program
in her undergraduate studies at UCLA.
Her studies in Paris led to a passion in international cultures
and protocol and in 1990 she was hired by the prestigious International
Chamber of Commerce in Paris to participate in a variety of global
business events as well apprentice with the International Director
in charge of Protocol.
Ms Villa opened IBV Consulting Inc (IBV) in the
mid 1990s. Her first corporate clients were Hughes Networks,
Boeing Satellite,
and Publicis Networks, where she reported directly to the CEO
and executive teams on fine-tuning projects in Europe, the Middle
East,
and South Africa.
Ms Villa does pro bono work for qualifying non-profit organizations
and schools in her passion to share her knowledge of and expertise
in establishing international bridges and respect in global affairs.
Ms Villa moved back to the US in 2002 but maintains a seasonal
European residence and continues to travel internationally for
her clients.
